I made this port for my own shop to cut down on the large quantities of fine dust this machine throws into the air. Before, I was hesitant to use this tool because it's dust collection was so bad, but now it clears dust like a champ. This improved dust port won't just keep your lungs healthy, but also keep your shop and tool bed clean while you work, resulting in a more pleasurable and accurate sanding experience!

*Please be aware this is my own design.*
*The port does have a tendency to lean back if the hose attached to is not properly supported. To fix this, find a way to support the weight of the hose, or use some double-sided tape to better secure the port to the sander bed. While not ideal, during design, I preferred the simplicity of mounting via the thumb screw over needing to modify the metal bed.*
**I have not been able to test the fit on the non-EB44242 models of Ridgid Belt/Spindle Sander, but from my research, it should fit on these models as well.**
